Wicked Wednesday (12)

What would Halloween be without rain?

The wind brought down old trees and branches –

We were chased to the front porch to be dry…

and indoors to get warm by the fire.

The leaves are mostly gone, the fields plowed.

The geese are leaving too.

None of this gets in the way of the happy pterodactyl monster though!

  1. Chris Nicholson says:

Happy Halloween! We had rain yesterday and early this morning.
The dock in the pond and the asparagus look just like here but I couldn’t get them both in the same shot. The row of sycamores along the creek on the other side of the pond have emerged from all the green of summer.
I like the rain chains and I love the monster.
    Chris N. New month tomorrow.

  2. Happy Halloween to you to. Love your little monster! Lovely autumnal images Marie
