We are very happy to return home. There’s no place like home. Airport confusion and delays, appointments, hotels… they can be tiring and stressful. All that “hurry up and wait” business! Then the rushed and boring meals…

Fortunately there were plenty of good aspects to our trip. Friendly, helpful, competent people, indoor walkways during bitter cold days, travel services, etc.

In Rochester, I enjoyed the interesting architecture –Feb21-2013View-from-Mayo-Clinic

and the contrast of styles!Feb21-2013View-from-MayoClinic2

And now back to snow and more cold weather for a little while longer. The garden catalogs have started pouring in, which is a big help! Best of all, Phoebe dog came home a few minutes after we arrived. Always love these reunions!!!

Wow, that architecture is absolutely off the charts, isn’t it? Both the new and the old. I have never been there, but it rises on my list just from these photos.

  2. Jack, I hope the Mayo Clinic isn’t in your future, but the architecture is grand!
