To Market! To Market!

It’s too cold and gloomy out to do garden work yet, so we headed to the market this morning. We walked directly to the apple fritter shop where the line-up was shorter than usual. We  ordered hot apple cider too. The young staff are amazing to watch and everything is fresh and hot!March2-2013MarketAppleFritters2 March2-2013MarketAppleFritters3 March2-2013MarketAppleFritters5

Our next destination was the Egyptian spot where they sell wonderful dips and samosas. We bought an eggplant/tomato dip with some special dipping crackers, tabouleh and some large samosas. Those will likely be our dinner tonight.March2-2013MarketEgyptianFoods

This market is awesome – what a wonderful array of delicious foods and wares.
At a quick glance I would buy the apple fritters, honey, cinnamon buns, bacon looks so good too.
you’re spoilt for choice – wonderful!

This reminds me of Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. I used to love to visit there – a feast for the eyes and the nose, as well.

Thanks so much for joining in this week.
