Giggles Everywhere

Sharing with Claudia’s A Favorite Thing.

This week I received photos of my granddaughter Ivy while she was enjoying a play date. I remember well the giggles I shared with my friend Kathy years ago. They mystified…even infuriated…my father. I guess this was not allowed by his family when he grew up in France. Life was serious business! But I am glad for Ivy and her friend Lily!

This same week I received photos from my son who is working again in Haiti. He has been visiting schools and orphanages, and what a delight it is to see some happy faces there as well.

What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. These are but trifles, to be sure; but scattered along life’s pathway, the good they do is inconceivable.
Joseph Addison

I left my heart in Haiti… Do visit updates here as well! http://haitidreams.wordpress.com/

Seems as if both girls were given garden names. Our son Dan’s
daughters (now 25 and 20) are named Lily and Amelia Dandelion.
The first daughter chose the second daughter’s middle name.
I really enjoyed the smiles. Chris N.

The joy of those two little girls is palpable! I can almost hear their giggles. And it’s so wonderful that your son is having that experience. What beautiful faces, what lovely smiles.
