The Playhouse

This past weekend the Alberta family escaped to their land for a project. They built their first house, a pallet play house. It took 6 pallets and a bunch of scrap plywood. The kids had a blast both helping put it together and later playing in it. “We have renovations to do already – we would like to build a loft, and make a waterproof roof. In the meantime, it’s loads of fun anyway!”

What a wonderful summer they have had!

We just built a tree house ( well, our older boys did) in the woods and are planning on hanging a row of swings, see saw… it is so great to have property that you are able to put anything you want on!! I want to steal the idea from Reed’s playground with the tree stumps arranged in a circle- kids love that!
