Catching up with the Grandchildren

I’ve been away for a while, then caught a nasty cold. I’m slowly regaining strength and my daughter sends me photos to encourage me. Lucky me!

Forrest had his first birthday in mid August. Now he’s enjoying peek-a-boo. I fall in love with this game over and over again with every grandchild.

Leo had his third birthday in early September. He enjoyed chasing chickens around their property at top speed. Then he had a party at the Chinese restaurant with family. A happy day!

The frog prince:

She visited our place in August and helped build a swing. Back home, she learned to ride a bike all over the place and she also caught chickens.

And summers are so short now! Of course that fact that I’m older makes them go faster still! Marie, Ivy is just beautiful! I love the picture of her holding the chicken. Leo and Forrest are just darling! Hope you are feeling better!
