Tomorrow, perhaps the ornamental grasses will stand tall once more?

I hope so!

Each season has its offerings. Love your pictures.
Our son and daughter-in-law from North Carolina are visiting and I took
Pattie out to the county fair grounds where a rain garden I helped put in is
now doing its job in what used to be a quagmire behind the 4-H building.
It was beautiful with a few lingering flowers, many seeds and grass heads in
    a huge downpour!

A day later at home the grasses are still bent over but the New England Asters
and Harrington’s pink are standing up and full again.
